The Reality of Sin

So today I wanted to talk about sin.  A lot of times in life we think that there are big sins and that there are little sins. To God there really is no difference. All sin is the same in his eyes. It's hard to believe that those little white lies that we all tell are the same in God's eyes as murder. Although we apply levels, classes, or degrees to sin there really is none. Thankfully, we have the Saving Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to cover us when we sin. As long as we ask for forgiveness and truly believe that we are sorry, we are forgiven. In the Bible, David was said to be a man after God's own heart. Although David was a murderer, and, also was a fornicator, God loved David. God forgave David for his sins and made him a great man. Our God can also do this for you. Daily we must try and live righteously, pray, and do our best to walk the Christian walk. Always remembering to do our best to follow God's laws. The more that we do this, the more the holy spirit will come into our lives and guide us on our daily walk. Over time it will become easier and easier not to sin from the smallest to the largest of offenses. Let us always remember that all sin is equal and to always strive towards the goal of righteousness.
